Me and my girlfriend are playing San Juan on our balcony on the cruise ship “Explorer of the Seas”. The city you see in the background is San Juan! San Juan is a very nice town, it’s a pity that we only were allowed to stay for 7h before the boat sails.

Now I'm curious - how far in advance did you plan that photo?

I'm a sucker for photographs of games being played in their real world representative locations.

This image reminded me of this classic:

San Juan is a great city. I loved the old town especially (and the Baccardi plant :-))

Seems to make sense that one would rather be touring the city rather than sitting on the ship, but usually there is a fairly lengthy time between when passengers are asked to return to the ship and when the ship actually leaves.

Yes, I brought the game on the trip just in case we would have an opertunity to play it in San Juan. But the photo turned out better than I thought.

No, we took the photo after returning to the boat.

My wife and I took the Explorer of the Seas on our honeymoon, and we also visited San Juan. Granted, that was back in 2006 when neither of us had heard that games besides "Guesstures" existed, but still.

GG to you for reminding me of my honeymoon.

I've been on that ship too! We took it for the East Caribbean cruise in 2002 when we went to Bahamas, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico and Labadee. I bet you had an amazing time on the cruise!

As a frequent cruiser I can confirm this. There is often 45-90 minutes of time between the time you are supposed to be back on the ship and when you shove off. This can really stretch on if there is inclement weather ahead or if too many morons aren't back on time.

God, now I'm itching for my next cruise.

Great pic by the way!
