Instead of +1 regular military, I think it is +1 to imperium military worlds (to be included in expansion). Plus, It wouldn't make any since to include +1 rebel military, when regular military encompasses every military card (unless you are thinking of something I'm not).

It's +1 regular military, and an additional +1 Rebel military - i.e. you start with 2 military power vs Rebel worlds and 1 military power vs other military worlds.

Good point. Never thought of that. Although I think they still are including imperium military worlds.
Oh but why are Darth and runaway robots planetcards??...
I think you might have to ask the game designer that...Maybe the droids go off to form a robot colony, whilst I wouldn't dare argue with Darth if he told me he 'was' a planet!!
Sure it's just a joke. But could it ever become a reality?
I'd like to think that if Tom Lehmann and RGG got the right agent they could work something out with Lucasfilm to make this a reality. It might perhaps require working with an existing major licensee like Hasbro, but who knows? One can dream...
Could certainly wring some cash out of both game geeks and Star Wars geeks I would imagine.
Actually, Rebel Warrior Race isn't quite the Wookie homeworld, Tom had a different card in mind for that that will show up in the second expansion.

Actually, although the second (and maybe third) expansion work well with the Star Wars theme, the base game actually works better with a Star Trek theme. Although I'm also fond of calling Epsilon Eridani "Babylon 5"...
Being new to this realm of gaming I was given a chance to create my own cards using the blank cards that came with the game. I created the cards and began scanning the blanks into the computer to place my own pictures when my computer went down. So far I have created a set for the following themes: DC Comics Star Trek Bible based (weird but fun) Transformers The hard part was getting them all different. If you have anymore ideas, besides Star Wars since someone else went to a LOT of hard work doing those (good job by the way!), but if you can think of anything else as a theme let me know since we like to change the game up each time we play. oh you can reach me at merlynprime@hotmail.com Subject: Race for the Galaxy Thanks!
Jumping in, I would absolutely buy/play different themed version of RftG; though I must say, I'd want different powers pertinent to the theme (not just a retheming).
I've been thinking of creating a 20-odd set of Star Trek cards to add to the thing. Right now, I'm working on my Dune and Corporation expansions, but I'll get to ST eventually.
