Got this Othello board for 1 Euro at ebay - it is a nice "3D"-board, so the pieces fit into the spaces - and the traps. Great idea to make a DIY set by Brett Christensen (mothertruckin)!

I made a name sign and put it on the "Othello" sign - now a perfect "Arimaa" copy - animals plaing on a meadow having fun!

That`s interesting - I copied the position from a Arimaa-source, it should be correct. I have to re-check this.

Edit: Is is the position featured right on the front page of www.arimaa.com.

Edit: Omar Syed answered and cleared up the misunderstanding: At their page the game is shown in "neutral view", meaning gold and silver are playing "sideways"! My fault not knowing Arimaa at this moment, but proudly taking a picture of my beautiful copy!

Thanks for pointing!
