Very nice!
I don't think I'd be able to produce such detailed fimo figures. Haven't tried yet, but I know myself...

Wow, Nightcrawler looks really feline.

I'm wondering though... what happens when you do the "make baby" action? Does Professor X and Jean get it on or something? Not sure how that works but ya... (probably some psychic disturbance that rips a hole in time/space, or some other comic book styled nonsense).

Thanks for all of the comments! These were very fun to make--even if they are a bit off-theme.

Wouldn't Scott/Jean or Logan/Jean be more natural pairings?

Unfortunately, no.

These were custom orders for a friend who owns a comic book/game store, but his wife also had a couple requests of her own. The only other comic book group we have in the works is the Endless (i.e., Sandman) crew. Then, we're making them a beach family and a Lilo & Stitch family.

Since when does Beast have a tail? At least it looks like there is a tail in there some where.

As for Jean and Scott having kids, what could they possibly give birth to that is there? Beast?

No tail. It is Beast. But, in all fairness, it's not a very good likeness. I was going from memory, and my memory isn't great.

As for the family growth action, I suppose it could be seen as non-biological. Prof X takes a turn to recruit a new member of the team, or something like that.

They're made using polymer clay. Two popular brands are FIMO and Sculpey. For storage, I use these stackable plastic snapcases that we ran across at JoAnn's Fabrics. Each case is about 6" square and 2" tall, approximately, and they stack and lock on top of each other.

http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat3373&PRODID=...

We bought 3 sets of these, so they are stacked six high--holding all of our resources, animeeples, farmers, etc. There are probably better solutions out there, but I like these little cases.
