It doesn't look it, but my wife is a vicious Risk player.

Seconded?

I love Risk, she plays it on occasion to humor me. Congrats, on many counts!

This makes me happy to see more wargame light wives and girl friend players! My fiancee loves Command and Colors: Ancients and she enjoys Risk Star Wars Original Trilogy as well as Risk: Godstorm.

Big thumbs up to you friend!

My fiancée loves to play C&C: Ancients as well. I've just about broken her of the throw pieces when frustrated behavior...last time it was merely one of the seven C&C dice that made it to the floor. I only mention it because last time we played Risk, the whole board made it's way to the floor shake. Seeing as how she was playing it for me though, I cleaned it up without a word of grief.

Nah.

Unless it involves bikinis, pools and Mexico then this kind of thing isn't getting a thumb from me any more.

The bar has been raised my friend. Can you rise to the challenge?

Not at all. It is more like Dust or Attack.

(Not quite sure what that phrase means, but I'm fairly confident it applies here.)

Yes, my wife is always purple. Oddly enough, she had never played Risk before as she was never much of a gamer until she met me. She was however, the only girl on her High School Chess team. Once I introduced her to two classics in one weekend, Stratego and Risk, she was quickly hooked and we ended up playing risk probably six times and eventually just left the game out on a separate gaming table to quickly play when we wanted to. Statistically she does kick my butt most of the time.

So far, no hurled objects at my house. Though, I have to say that my wife also thoroughly enjoys Memoir '44 and is also quite good at it. I'm not sure I could convince her to play C&C Ancients. I'll have to try some day.
