My Boggle rules say 8+ letters is eleven points. That would mean there is no such thing as a twelve point word!

Unless I have an ancient version of Boggle. But then, Wikipedia and fun-with-words.com agree with my rules on the scoring. So, no twelve point word and I want my GG!

But in case it's an eight letter word we're looking for...

STEALING
ENTRAILS
PLEASERS

Also,

trails
grails
renters
lasting
tasting
pasters

...plus a lot of little stuff.

Entrails is not a great word for the top of a cake. I was expecting something sentimental.

And it turns out PLEASINGS is a word for nine letters, perhaps that's what we're calling a twelve point word.

PARTINGS is another eight. That could be the sentimental word.

I miswrote about the points. I meant letters. There is a 12 letter word.

Are we sure the twelve letter word is a real word?

According to my friend, the word is in SOWPODS. A 13 letter variant isn't

As there's 4x4 letters it's not physically possible to find 12 letter word

I only found "sine" that's "blueish" in Estonian... wow

#1 REPLASTERINGS - 13 letters, I win.

#2 in Boggle you're allowed to go all serpentine with your words; successive letters can be adjacent orthogonally or diagonally in any direction without regard to the directional relationship between the previous two letters, as long as you use each letter only once. In theory, sixteen letter words are possible.

According to my friend who made the cake, "Replasterings" isn't valid because it isn't in SOWPODS. I'm unaware of any debates about what dictionaries are valid or common with Boggle players, but my friend is scary into both Scrabble and Boggle, so I'm not disputing it.
