Me and my 12 days old daughter playing Race for the Galaxy. Had to come up with something to play with only one hand - stands from Hab & Gut are the solution

Nice!

We have a three months old boy and we have been playing a lot of Race too with my wife. In our games, the one carrying the baby has been playing with open cards, but your solution is much better! I have to consider buying one of those card holders myself...

Nope. That baby is clearly not in a box.

Ah, now THAT's my kind of babe picture.

Congrats! (And nice T-shirt, BTW...)

I remember the one-handed gaming... now my girls are 12, 8 and 5, and they beat the boardgame crap out of dad any chance they get.

You'll see! She'll grow up faster than you want her to.

The holders from Memoir/Battlelore etc work great too.

Of course. I should have listened to her when she pointed to Diversified Economy card. I didn't play it... that was one of the reasons I lost

We find games that can be played hands-free are best. e.g zooloretto: "hmm... peel me another tile... err... put it with the camel."
