That's an awesome picture and awesome table(s).

It does look like there are 3 pairs of Special Systems (red bordered) directly adjacent to each other. Either that's a lot of bad luck as people were placing tiles (where they had no other options left) or just a repeated mistake.

How long did the 7-player game take?

Thank you for your comments.

This 7 player game was played on June 13th starting at 6pm with a Midnight deadline. We got in 7 rounds and Purple (me) ended up winning with 5 VP.

The adjacent red bordered hexes are due to a random setup necessary to get the game going right away. We drew lots for starting positions.

The table is an expensive cover for a 4.5 X 9ft pool table. It is a 1" solid wood cover that has non slip pads to hold it to the pool table cover so it does not move. You can find it if you look up Olhausen pool tables.

The map in the background is a map of the world that you can use a dry-erase marker on. There is a piano on the left and I am on the stairs up taking the picture. The roof is angled up to 16' so it is a big open living room.

My lovely wife agreed to the pool table this year which in my mind completes the game room!

Cheers,
Lloyd

I feel somewhat jealous. I wish I had the time and space and gamegroup buddies to play just the one game like this for six hours straight! Kudos to you and your buddies!
