With played standard rules. The money is not as tight as AoS, but it's still possible for a non-new player to get into real trouble early. It happened in this game when the blue player got squeezed out of some early cubes by the red and green players. Blue had a tough time getting things going after that.
Really enjoy the game. Tense like Power Grid. Not a lot of chatter/laughs. I'm not that great at it, but I still enjoy it.
Tried 3 rounds of basic version with my 7 year-old son and his friend this morning. I think it's going to be a great family game. In fact, I probably would have used it yesterday with new player if I'd known how good it is.
