This is the nerdiest picture I've ever seen. Referencing another board game AND stuffed animals?
They are NOT animals! *breaks down in a fit of hysterical sobbing*
Honestly, though, they're not my regular gaming group. Really. I just met the two in a bar after having a couple of beers, and it was a very lonely weekend.
No offense to your bedroom decor, but the thing that makes this photo for me is that it looks like you're in a padded cell! (In which case it all makes sense...)

Good! Because I am in a padded cell! (aren't all bedrooms padded like this?)
No, that pretty face has actually been on your side of the globe for the past two weeks. If you go to New York, you might actually bump into her. You have until Friday though, after that I get to play with her again.
At the risk of losing my geekcard, are these 2 critters from a show I should know about or a comic?
Great captions though!
As far as I know, they're just cute! They're an indie/designery toy, I think they've got some comics or something now, but they started as just a toy. I've got a baker's dozen of the small ones at home icebat is the best!
This should be the new comic strip thingy on the home page. Great stuff!
I actually had that thought before I made the photo, but I'd have to come up with really good lines each and every time. This one was a stroke of inspiration. I haven't had another one yet. Maybe I should ask people for ideas, and then implement them?
The leftmost guy hasn't taken any actions yet on this round. He has the starting player marker and tells the other guy it's his turn. What the...?
In addition, he has taken 6 turns so far. He must have taken at least these actions: - plow 1 field - fences - sheep - some action to get food - some action to get the clay or stone (can't tell which one it is)
So he has one action left to take wood. He has already built 7 fences and has 4 wood in the supply. So he must have taken 10 or 11 wood with a single action (depending if he got wood with the clay/stone)!
Also the green guy has used 6 actions for grain, plow, sow, sheep, build room and one remaining action to take resources for the room (there's no such action to give you resources for a room with a single action).
The blue guy is the only one who hasn't cheated in any obvious way (although he still has quite a lot of resources after buying cooking hearth).
Finally! Someone worthy of the boardgamegeek title! I was waiting for someone to point out the inconsistencies! At first I actually tried playing the first four rounds of the game so that everything stayed as true to life as possible. But in the process I made one omission and one change.
The omission is that I didn't actually move the disks onto the field. This is actually the end of Round 4, and the family member disks should be on the cards, and not on the respective player boards.
The change is that I had to move the sheep from Seth to Grün. Otherwise the quote would not have worked.
