This one is gorgeous! It fits the game as I understand it in this state of development very, very well. In fact, I don't think an even more cartoonish style would not be suitable as the game would lose it's sarcastic theme a bit when using more exeggerated comic styles.
I don't have a picture to post, but it even looks like Gato from Chrono Trigger. So, in theory at least, the Golem could sing a little song before it fights.
