Mike: Thanks! I'm happy to see things rolling, too.

If Helen of Troy's face launched a thousand ships, why can't Cleopatra's Caboose sell a thousand games. Just saying.

Is this game title an intentional or unintentional innuendo?

The innuendo is intentional. Read about the evolution of the game and its title here.

Well, I see Cleopatra's Train's caboose, but Cleopatra herself is turned the wrong way.

That's false advertising, sir.

(BTW: that's an awesome cover)

Well, as long as we're talking innuendo: what about the classic film symbolism of the train going into the tunnel?

As George Carlin said "You don't have to be Fellini to figure that one out!"

And even more obviously, the Settlers of Catan shield/emblem emblazoned on the front of the Pyramid.

In the same grain, is the partially exposed maze a homage to the classic Ravensburger game Labyrinth?

What I really want to know is, what's going on around the base of the Sphinx there? Is that some kind of Tentacle-thingy? or a Giant Snake? or an immature Sandworm from Dune? or what!?

Actually, the guy looking upon the maze is supposed to be one of the explorers from Lost Cities.

You got me on that one, Michael. You'd have to ask the artist. I just gave basic guidelines on how I pictured the cover, and he took it from there. laugh
