What kind of material is the board? And are the "black holes" more easily in reality than here on the pic (hopefully)?
Great job!

tnx.

It's made of an MDF board and a thin multiplex board which has 64 holes (approx. 1/2 inch diam.) drilled in it glued onto the base board. Then, I used some kind of foam (I think it's normally used to make clothes insulate from the cold) and the applied some stretchy cloth which is navy blue and has some glitter in it. The glitter matches the theme.
Then, in the middle of each of the 64 holes I hammered a small copper coloured nail, except for the four 'black holes'. There I first placed some black cloth and used black nails instead to fasten it.
To be honoust, I'm not to fond about the blackholes myself... still haven't found that one thing that could make it an obvious blackhole.
I made this board with whatever I could find around... I played arimaa on it with a friend and it plays quite intuitive so I'm happy with the result.
