Although I like the artwork of Michael Menzel, I would like to see this cover for the German box, too. It is much "sweeter" than the other two.
Looking at this image makes me think it looks more like it was actually done by Menzel. I'm not sure though. But it sure doesn't look like Cathreins work.
Anyone else getting the dreaded "red X" with this image? I can see every other image on the geek, and I've tried different sizes and ways to approach loading the image - but no luck.
Thanks for uploading the image. For some odd reason, I get the red X on that link, too. I guess my browser hates Seaside box art.
Here is a thumb for the effort, though. I'll have to try looking at it at home (I use Firefox there instead of IE here at work) and maybe that will fix it.
Chrome (and IE?) users: check out the imageshack link I posted above to see the picture!
That link doesn't work either. I get the red x on all versions too. Image uploaders please don't use CYMK format for images. Not all browsers support it.
It's trivial to convert it in your favorite paint program and allows ANY brower to see it.
You can usually tell if a box is a smaller size, by the size of it's logo. On smaller boxes, the logo of the publisher tends to take up a higher percentage of the surface. In this case, it's the same as with the base game.
This is an adapted picture from an original. Its of Castletown harbour, on the Isle of Man, UK. Where I grew up!! The little white building at the left of the castle is called the Castle Arms pub, where I drink!
