Wow, you're right! I wonder if that was intended or was a simple oversight? It doesn't seem likely that they would restrict a pilot from launching on the first turn. on the other hand, she's a really attack powerful pilot, so maybe it is intentional.
I'm sorry, I'm just not getting how her starting in the hanger deck prevents her from launching on the first turn.
I just read it more closely. The 'Stim Junkie' triggers at the end of the movement step. Not at the end of the turn. So she has to move from the hanger bay to somewhere else.
Errata from fantasyflight fixes this. Stim Junkie activates at the end ofthe action step, not the movement step. She may launch on her first turn, thusly.
Can I get some clarification? Does her once per game action mean she can kill 5 raiders, 2 heavy raiders and 1 Basestar anywhere from the board or just the space area she is in? The question came up last night when we argued that “in her space are” was for both the attacks on Cylons and Civvies both.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Hexachlorophene J. Goodfortune, Kidnapper-At-Large, and Devourer of Tortoises par Excellence, at your service.
If you can read this, then this sentence is false.

Only in the space area she is in. And she can't use the ability to kill 5 raiders, 2 heavy raiders and a basestar. It says "or" -- she only gets to kill one type.
