Maybe someone can promote to them the idea of eating a sandwich.

Why? I bet they are height/weight proportionate and totally in line with where that ratio is supposed to be. Fit people weigh more per volume than not fit people as muscle weighs twice what fat weighs.

It is sad that fat and unfit is the socially accepted norm and being overweight and unhealthy is a badge gamers often wear with pride; living on Mtn Dew and Doritos.

And if I had to choose between hanging out with people that have an eating disorder, I'd take the people who eat too little as opposed to the people who eat too much, for numerous reasons. Every. Single. Time.

Not sure what country you're from, but in this country fat and unfit has never been socially accepted. I think most gamers wear it as a badge of pride due to a lifetime of being treated as less than human by health freaks who's only concern is what someone looks like rather than what they are like.
