Oh that's too cool. What a great image and composition. It's my new desktop background. Any chance you can provide us with a higher resolution/size of the image?*
Again, very nice work, Tommi.
* EDTI: Eh, this image does just fine on my desktop background!
probably he will rip out the power cords from under the floor. everything goes dark, you can hear some baddda-badda, some screching, emergency light flickers on.
he stands alone in the middle of genestealer corpses, chatting in his mobile. "yeah, of course i am free at eleven."
well, there is mesh against insects, or heatshrink mesh, used i. e. in frames for sifting paper pulp to make... ah. paper. some twenty years ago i got it from some hardware store, just looked for something that looked right. as it's going to be painted it doesnot even need to be metal. around here there is even a arts store that sells all kinds of stuff to architects to build their model houses. i am sure something is there to fill the needs of any miniature wargame paintbuff. like i was am. and reverting to at times.
Go to your local hardware store and ask for the rolls of screening (used to repair screen doors/windows). I've used the metal version but the plastic works just fine and is a *heck* of a lot easier to cut & glue!
You'll need to glue the screen with a thin layer of superglue. I recommend using 'kicker' so the glue will set before the screen might lift off the base.
