Your librarian looks a little like Optimus Prime in those colours
Yeah I reverted the color scheme. Instead of a Librarian who happens to be in the blood angels company (that's how I see the blue suit with red shoulder pads) I prefered to make him a blood angel who happens to be a Librarian... not very orthodoxical, but I can't make myself care about orthodoxy.
But it looks like they're going to fly off if you sneeze. Hehehe
Not really. the minis are quite heavy with a 3mm solid plastic chit as a base, and they're magnetized so they'll adhere to the magnetized tiles; the tiles themselves are linked with strips of steel can (use the cans from your preferred beverage), and are quite heavy for their size too. It's better on a metallic table of course but I don't have one handy.
Friggin' GENIOUS! Why has no one thought of travel GW titles before? You've also solved the problem of limited table space!

Great work. Where did you get stealers for EPIC? Forgeworld?
Tyranid army specs/figs were originally part of an officially released expansion for Epic (I don't recall the name)--a buddy of mine in college used to have a small force of them, and the titan was particularly impressive and disturbing.

Thanks, but -of course- I'm not the first. One of my good friends 'j0z3f' was working on his own set, and when I saw it I decided I wanted the same; I ended finishing mine before him, but he got my extra neosium magnets for his stuff. and his idea isn't even his : http://jeuxblogge.blogspot.com/2009/03/mini-space-hulk-photo...
I want to make a magnetized travel-sized version myself, but I have a question about the magnets. I'm afraid I'm forgetting something about how polarities work.
Can you use magnet-based models on magnetic tiles, or would the magnets cancel each other out? Ideally I'd like to have a game I could play on the side of a filing cabinet or refrigerator (there's an image of someone doing just that somewhere here, but I can't find it now).
