This is the variant "The River", which we played yesterday evening with great pleasure. We played with five players. Because of the fact that the building area is much smaller (due to the river) the game is even more tense: the centre of the town is on one side of the river, and allready halfway through the game this side of the river becomes fully occupied with buildings, causing a "building rush" to the other side of the river. But -as you know- most of the buildings need to be placed next to roads, causing lots of exciting duels about free land (especially next to a bridge, since that gives more points) and road building!

In this pic, I only see one road crossing the river. I thought you were suppose to use two?

Look more closely, both bridges are built correctly using 2 road pieces each
