This is awesome, the only things that bothers me graphically are the smiley faces (they don't fit in that well with the style).. But that certainly won't keep me from getting this game
Also, The art really gives you the feeling of managing a large dungeon filled with weird and evil creatures, it's a great theme

Ok it could be just me but that Tavern scene at the bottom of the board looks to be a little nod to the Mos Eisly Cantina scene from Star Wars: A New Hope?!
I'm sure the game will be great, but even if it isn't, I'm buying this game for the board anyway. I loves it!
EDIT - Actually that may be right as the image to the left would have to be a nod to Indiana Jones.

You'd have to go back farther than that. The Star Wars tavern scene was a nod to the classic Hollywood westerns.
Euhm, I will certainly get flamed for this but am I the only one who is kind of "mêh" about this gameboard? I don't see where the fuzz is all about > zoom up closer, look at the shading of the characters. This is not a gameboard I would hang up as decoration...

Yeah I'l agree with that. I was kinda hoping for a thematic mini's game where you could see the heroes dying and your traps impaling another victim.

I was trying to figure out what the hell a fruit machine is until i realized that fruit machine and slot machine are the same thing. My first thought of fruit machine was this:
