Yeah, the guy I work with does this pumpkin carving contest every year. He made the local paper with photos of his 7 pumpkins at the Pumpkin Festival. This one is my favorite, for obvious reasons.
I've always loved the tradition of pumpkin carving. It's somehow a double sided, melancholy feel over them since beautiful pieces eventually rot away. Kind of an American take on the Japanese cherry blossom.
