These were painted in the same manner I described in a painting guide thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/390388.

That is to say, they were primed with black spraypaint (Games Workshop's Chaos Black) and drybrushed with Games Workshop's Boltgun Metal. That's all. It brings out the detail, making them look better (for me) than the grey/silver plastic.

It's a very easy technique, the old "dry brushing". It works particularly well on these things, as you just need to paint them black and then flick silver paint over them. Nothing more.
