Thanks ;-) The best thing is: I only read the text on the bag when I got home from Essen after receiving it as a gift from the fine folks of Lookout ... and nearly cried blush

This is all very new to me. First child, only two months old now ... and, as you can see, I have to share some of this joy.

Is that red hair?

My heritage is German, but because I'm in a family of redheads, people sometimes assume we're of Irish descent. But from what I've heard, Germany has more redheads than almost anywhere else.

In any case, congratulations!

Not really. It's kind of blond-brown-mushy-something-in-the-middle at the moment. But as I am told, these hair will probably fall out in the next weeks and the "real" hair will start to grow. I think, as everyone else around him, he will have some kind of blond/light brown hair in the end.

Surely the bag!

Great way to carry the little one to gamenights, since he can't walk!

Congrats on the little one! The baby, that is!

Possible... married one and produced two, having blonde hair and a red beard myself. My sister in law is a redhead too. She and her somewhat reddisch husband have further three redhead children. When we are out and about together we call ourselves the Weasleys

Congrats Olav! One heck of an adventure you have started there, enjoy the ride!

Congrats!
I would suggest having two , especially if the second is a boy also. I am amazed every day at how my two boys play, interact, and fight blush with each other.
At one point, my wife and I really wanted a boy and girl, but I have to say that it couldn't have worked out better (and she agrees).
Congrats again.

Edit: I thought you/they were talking about another child. Sorry.

NP. We are stuck in Analysis Paralysis about this at the moment, though. Luckily it is not our turn, yet. ;-)

I guess you dont get it because part of the joke gets lost in translation:
the german word "Anschaffung" means something like purchase/acquirement...
