Nice! My daughter would love this game...she's a big fan of the PBS Kids show Dinosaur Train. All it needs is some time tunnels and you'd have a big seller with the 4 year old crowd.
If there ever is a game called "Trainnosaurs Rex" or simply with the theme of "predatory carnivorous dinosaurs on a train", I'll definitely have a close look.
The human race, to which so many of my readers belong, has been playing at children's games from the beginning, and will probably do it till the end, which is a nuisance for the few people who grow up. - GKC
Before this goes to press, I hope they correct the huge error of leaving out "This Land" from the map.
I know some liberties must be taken with any map used as a gameboard, but c'mon - where else can we live out the sudden but inevitable betrayals?

Will there be an expansion for when a meteor hits or mega volcano errupts and wipes all the dino trains off the board?
I think that's a good idea!!! The map should be double sided, and the game should consist of two eras... Before and after the meteor disaster The contours of the world should change and Homo Sapiens should erect from nothingness, so, double-sided cards should be used with random color humans on the other side of dinosaurs.. The problem may appear with the plastic figure design, as it's hard to imagine it designed double-sided
In order for this to officially fit into the TtR series it has to be a place so scrunch those continents together a little tighter and call it TtR: Pangea for cripes sake.

I like water... I think it looks better with more blue on it ;D
I don't know which is better, this or TTR:Mesosaic. Can someone post a file detailing the differences between the games?
This is a simpler version of the game. The full Era game takes neary a full week to play, and is fiddly - especially while moving the super-continent and continent board-overlays as they rift apart over the 180,000 odd million years of game time.
Playing the full game - running from the Permian Mass Extinction to the Cenozoic is one hell of an experience. You have to be careful though - After KT you must be ready to switch lines from Dinosauria to Mammal quick smart or risk losing big in the points department. Of course, if you happened to be the Paraves player, you have a ticket to ride.
Settlements? Is it not so that homonids did not as yet exist 100 million years ago, much less people who built settlements. You know, whatever; I don't mean to be that way, but it's again like movies showing "cavemen" with dinosaurs. .

No no, I didn't mean humanlike creatures in those settlements and huts. It's obvious that there should be people from Mars living. Last colonies of the older brothers

What everyone here doesn't know is that this game will add a new element to game play that other versions don't have. That element is Variable Player Powers! Before each game player's randomnly choose a character, the choices are: Little Foot, Petri (or Petre), Sarah, Spike, and of course Ducky. There is also a bonus character for use in the co-op mode, Sharptooth. In this mode all characters are kept secret since no one knows who the "Sharptooth" is right away. He may become apparent later buy with skill, planning, and luck all the others can escape to the Nice Place and have plenty of tree stars.
