2 days in hospital?!?! doesn't sound good...
2 days is perfectly good.
I take my wife few days ago after birth and it was 11 days in hospital. My newbord baby is 3 weeks to early in world, and they have to make some things, medical checkings, tests etc.
Congratulation!!! Me and my wife are waiting our first child any day now. He or she is planned to come the 21th so it is about time to decide what games we should bring.
If everything turns out well we will be staying 2 days at the hospital, or at the family hotel as they call it.

Strange she was kept for sure, given our broken health care system, where women are booted out of the hospital to make room.
It sucks being adjacent to the states, because whenever there are talks of much needed health care reform, the number one argument is simply, 'hey, at least we have health care'. Balls.
You sure you weren't playing Agricola, cuz that's a Major Improvement!
Babies are not in fact major improvements in Agricola. They are a regular action space usable by your family members. It's called "Family Growth." Get your facts straight man geez
Broken Clock: of the 50ish new moms I know, I've never known anyone booted out of the hospital to make room. In fact, after my son's birth he was kept in neonatal for 48 hours. I was fine however and they wanted to send me home, I asked politely if I could stay to wait for him and they said yes without any argument.
If there weren't any complications, going home quickly is a great idea. Get that baby out of the germ-ridden hospital.
This is how I spent my 2011 Supporter Bonus ... how about you?
Alright 2012 ... Let's get this year started!

I'm appalled that you were so engrossed in the game you failed to notice that the corner of the table is poking baby's eye out. You should be ashamed!
Your kidding right? The baby is wrapped in a receiving blanket, That is what is partially covering his face. The table looks to be raised high enough that the baby, laying on the mothers lap, is actually below the table.
It you were making a joke, I didn't get it, but I apologize for taking you seriously.
If you were serious, maybe you should look a little closer next time before accusing someone of hurting their child.
In Scotland they try to shove you out after a couple of hours!
I guess the Scottish health system is out of money: For my first-born, three days were inclusive; but for my second-born, we had to pay ourselves in order to stay two nights. This had nothing to do with first- or second-born, but with a general change of policy for cases were nothing is amiss, we were told.
They would have let us go on day three, but allowed us a fourth day without argument when we requested it just to be safe.
That was a pretty fun set of kingdom cards: Spy, Chapel, Village, Moat, Workshop, Chapel, Festival, Remodel, Feast, Library. With a few Village + Festival, then Library to draw some more ... just about drew my whole deck a couple of times.
Amazing what you don't notice in a picture until you invite the world to comment. But if you zoom in though, you can see the middle finger isn't fully extended. So there's still some hope I don't have a rebel on my hands!
I love Melissa, but don't tell her. It's a secret if she can find this. Shhhhh....

I can imagine the baby thinking...
"Why didn't you deal me in? Unfair! (extends middle finger)"

Nice picture. No rest for the geeky.
You see that's why you should move to Quebec. Yes we pay more taxes, yes French is hard, but education is cheaper and the health system (note for births) is better. I know it because there was a girl at work who was pregnant and everything seemed to be good. However, I agree with you. Whenever we complain, hey at least you have work insurance, health care and other social benefits

all depends on the baby/mom/etc., we've had 4 babies now (all boys), one of them we were in and out in less than 24 hours, another we were there 3 days, none had any problems or anything, all depends on the doctors and stuff too.
