Did she silk-screen it herself or did she buy it? Really great gift idea for gamers!

She made the bag herself -- literally stitched together the whole bag in front of me. The logo is a transfer and looks fantastic.

She sells the bags custom-made if anyone is looking for a gift idea. I'll get the dimensions from her and put them up.

Very nice! If she's selling these for profit, then I hope she's aware of the copyright issues for replicating other companies' art and logos.

The pandemic bag is genius. I work at the airport and would love to get one. We play pandemic at work all the time during lunch. I have a lot of TSA folk who really enjoy it. The first time I went to work with it (everybody gets checked as they go through) There was a fair amount of searching involved but after that no problems...atleast until a new TSA member checks what I am bringing through...damn newbs...yuk

As I recall the first edition of pandemic was held in customs because of the name "Pandemic".

All that is needed is a picture of the 12 monkeys on the bag to seal the deal.

That is the best thing about airpot security. They really believe terrorists label their stuff with "Big bomb inside", "dangerous chemicals", "Bio hazard" and so on.

In all seriousness, if she could design a bag that could carry six or seven boardgames with a few pockets for excess, that would be cool. A reinforced bottom that is wider to accommodate games the size of Imperial.

She can do tote size (six games) and dice/deck bags (kickass for Tichu). Both the messenger bag and the tote are reinforced on the bottom.

I've seen an accessory bag that has drawer compartments that I want to see flipped into a wargaming bag.

Well a bio-hazard symbol and the word pandemic are hardly proprietary. I don't know about the name on the outside of the other bag. But still sound advice.

I often wonder the same thing. There are some pictures of lovely women on the Geek to be sure, but I've never gotten the urge to post "OMG LOOK AT TEH BEWBS" once. But, if I had to venture a guess, I'd say it's probably just a lot of men saying something that is socially unacceptable in real life but not on the Internet.

On the street we would all THINK these women are pretty but few people would actually say things like: "She has nice bags, if you know what I mean" to an actual person.

Tradition.
Glorious tradition.

Why do folks eat turkey on Thanksgiving?
Why make snowmen on the first big snowfall of winter?
Why is "pineapple" such a great safeword?

Some things just transcend logical analysis.

Yep. it makes me think a lot of gamers are young men who don't know any women.

And then there are the ones who make comments, such as falling all over each other to condemn others for expressing a little appreciation, that make one wonder if they have any socialization of any kind.

Honestly, I know plenty of women and they tend to like a little harmless flattery, even if it gets goofy.

I don't think it has to do with being superior to others. I know it certainly doesn't for me. It just makes me cringe to see my gender living up to the stereotype of being dogs, with the constant hoots and catcalls.

Mind you, I don't think every comment aimed at these beautiful women pictures are all crass, but some of them definitely are, and it's embarrassing both as a man and as a gamer to see others of my kind acting like clowns.

I don't think they are her pictures, they are his pictures. He took them and uploaded them.

And why the thumb jeolousy? You do not know the intention of the OP. You don't know what value he places on thumbs. My wife's pictures get hundreds of thumbs but I couldn't care less about thumbs; that is not wht I post the pictures. I honestly do not even know how many thumbs I have. And I have only posted a few pictures of her even though I play 95% of the games I play with her, even though it is obvious if I wanted to mass-priduce thumbs I just would have to post more pictures.

Don't assume just because someone posts a picture that everyone seems to agree is attractive that the OP did it for selfish reasons. Perhaps it is the only person he has pictures of to post and didn't have a gunny sack handy to put over her head.

I certainly hope mine wasn't taken as crass. I was really just saying that she has nice eyes. But just saying, "she has nice eyes," seemed a little boring so I got goofy. That's me: I get clownish now and then and not just at pictures of women.

I personally didn't see anything wrong with your comment at all. I was thinking more along the lines of the posters who constantly chant "boobies" and act like these women are pieces of meat.

Perfectly understandable. I certainly don't approve of those sort either.

Hm. I think we've all wandered off from the sorts of subjects that these image comment fora are supposed to be used for so let me just say...

Pandemic is a great game and I'm sure possessing a bag like the one displayed above would enhance anyone's experience with it.

There? How was that for trying to get back on topic?

Dogs "hooting" and making "catcalls?" Those are some talented dogs!

Oh, I forgot to add - is there something regarding people's resentment for others getting lots of thumbs? Is there some big prize like a billion dollars for the most thumbs ever or something that I missed out hearing about? Is it really a big deal that someone has more of some imaginary items than others? Worrying about the imaginary money is one thing (and still silly to worry about) but as far as I know, thumbs really aren't worth anything......
