Houses i did with printed out Papermodels i found on the Web. Hills are painted Foamcore, but i put the original Parts on Top to have the flexibility to set it up like described in the Scenarios (with Roads or whatever). Barbed wire is twisted thin Wire, the Sticks are Toothpicks, mounted on Cardboard. Sandbags i made out of modelling Paste (just roll a thin "sausage" and cut into pieces). And the Anti-Tank-Trap is Cigar matches (they are bigger and thicker than usual ones). All really easy to do, you only need some time and patience

Really nice job! I like the wire and the trench a lot.

If you don´t mind and advice, I´d paint with green color the border of the original hill, I think it will look much better!

Great job!

@Santana:Yes you´re right, i was already thinking about painting the border of the original Hills so it matches better

@Marcelo: No Problem, some (like the Church you see on the Pic) i got from here
http://www.europmedia-verlag.de/frame/fr_bastel.htm

more you can find here for example:
http://freenet-homepage.de/Bastelmigo/seite2.htm
http://www.on-design.de/flash/ausschneidebogen.htm

How i did it was resizing the Papermodels with Photoshop so it fits to the Scale of ToI, printing it out with my Inkjet on 720dpi-Paper (for High-Resolution-Prints) and then glued that Paper on thin Cardboard using Photomount-Spray before assembling it so the Buildings are a bit more stable.

Thank you Giuseppe Unfortunately i can´t tell you if there´s Buildings for old Periods because i focused with my search finding buildings like these. But i can imagine you´ll find papermodels for other centuries, too. Just try searching on google, that´s how i found mine.

Thanks Kim I scaled the buildings to a side-lenth of 5 cm. They fit good onto the Map-Tiles then.

Helmut,

How high (in centimeters or inches) did you make the hills? This is the one modification I have to make.

Christopher
