The siege of Festung Polotsk. This is the situation one week after BGG image #630984. The city is completely surrounded by the Soviets and no supplies can be flown in.

It appears that your counters have their corners cut... How is this done? I can't imagine going through each of the counters one by one and clipping the edges.

A lot of hex & counter gamers (most of them? At least everyone I've ever met) cut the corners of the counters. That way they are easier to handle, don't collide with the counters next to them and they look a lot better. Also it reduces wear & tear on the edges.

Believe me - if you start doing it there's no going back. Sure there's a lot of work, but it's so much easier to play with that it's worth it ten times over.

Cheers!

It's usually done using a nail clipper, a small pair of scissors or a modeling knife. The nail clipper is the best, IMO.
