No, this is much more fun. I can have her full screen (so it is like face to face) and because my cousin needs to say the coordinates to make me move her rings, you get that battleship feeling.

I haven't played any games via Skype yet. But I would agree with your sentiment. I would totally log this as a face to face game despite the fact that her view is not of your face during the game.

Were she not your cousin I would have made a comment about the brilliance of perching such a winning smile atop an organic chemistry book. But instead let me just say congrats on a great familial gaming partner.

Seriously, I didn't detect any kind of double entendre in there. And I'm the guy who can't stop giggling when people talk about Uranus.

Clever use of tech. Oh, and nothing releases tension from studies better than a good game.

BTW, is that an Asus EeePC perched upon the stack of books?

Off topic - Has Uranus ever been probed? (Genuine Trivial pursuit question!) Honest!

Nice picture by the way - clever idea.

I don't know the game but is it PnP or are you just missing bits?

Edit: D'oh my bad - they're for the co-ordinates!! Sorry

I think it's safe to say that we did not attend the same college. We had great tension relievers, but they weren't board games. Let's just say prophylactic sales skyrocketed during finals week.

When everyone has skype and bandwidth to burn, the little avatar
window on boardspace will be skype. Meantime, when playing with
your special friends, open both boardspace and skype.

May I recommend a 3-way teleconfernece including your second laptop (or other PC with webcam), so that she can see you, too, not just the board?

It's common for a game's top picture to feature a beautiful woman, but this is the first time I've seen a picture of a picture (or rather video feed) of a woman as the top picture. I wonder how many Inception-style layers deep you coud go and still reach the top?
