You're lucky. Most of the guys have a similar problem, but with sex.
Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?
I must say strange orientation of the power plant market, from the photo we can see that the market is upside down for at least three of the five players
Does your "future wife" know that she's your future wife? 'Cause sometimes coming back from the future and telling girls that can really freak them out.
Will play any game... especially for wine or espresso.
I moved from Oz to UAE and all I got was this lousy flag. Now considering an African flag.

I think that's to show off the really amazing thing with this photo... Three of the players have chunky power plants (25,29 & 31 already bought), the lowest plant in the market is the 28 and yet its early enough in the game that the network sizes are only about 2 (purple) to 4 (yellow) cities.

If she doesn't know that, then they have a lot to talk about: like who was the other guy to put that rock on her finger......
Fourth Annual BOGA Weekend Retreat: March 22-24, 2013 at Camp Carl in Ravenna, OH. Mark your calendars now!!

I don't know.... something tells me that's not what this photo was meant to show off....
Just makin sure I am getting this correct.... This is your sister .. and future wife.. Is that Sister and HER future wife, Sister (and her future wife) or Sister and YOUR future wife?
Sorry, but it can be read 3 different ways.... 1) means you live in one of a select few states 2) means yer a hillbilly 3) means you just didn't provide clear enough information!
I had similar experience. Children changed everything. Yet, my son who is a natural athlete also like competition in games and at 10 is embarking on cooler stuff. Now the only problem is time.

And his sister (red) just keeps getting uglier.
Ha, I thought for a minute there you were being a huge asshole, but then I realized you were making a joke and talking about the guy.
(you are just making a joke and talking about the guy, right?)
Yes. The "joke" is that he said his sister was playing "red" above. But who appears to be his sister is playing yellow. I am just continuing the joke that his "sister" is the dude on the right. Made even more funny (I guess) by the fact this person to the right is still the one (in) red.
Not so funny after you have to explain it I guess......
With the multitude of lonely male geeks on here who complain about their lack of female companionship your either very brave or very foolish. Surprised you haven’t received offers of for your sisters number

I don't know, it's easier to find a sex partner than a wargaming partner.

Have you tried wanking a lot?
Seriously, if I paid some scantily clad lovely to frolick with my boardgame collection then set up a website with exclusive photosets would any of you subscribe?
No, you can't pay in GeekGold.
This was tried some time ago. The site was Spielboy.com. I don't believe the owner charged a subscription fee, but I do know the site has not been updated in years. May not even be up anymore...

My wife still plays games. We met in 87 and played Talisman and Fury of Dracula in the first week (both games were 1st edition).
Last week, we played 1960:Making of President, Galaxy Trucker, and Puerto Rico.
Yeah, getting wed does not necessarily kill the gaming. My wife and I started gaming with Dungeonquest, Talisman, and Fury of Dracula in college (about 1992). Now her favorites are PowerGrid, BattleLore, and Roll Through the Ages.

The wife and I used to play a variety of board games before marriage. After marriage, that all changed. Now I even hear a lot of complaints about me BUYING them, let alone her joining in with the playing.

Yep the sit is still up and there are some pics from the first pictorial on there. Most of the original content is archived. There were 5 full pictorials in all. I never charged a subscription fee or anything.
