Good old 1969. My brother was born that year. Not a good gamer-breed year if he would be setting the standard. Only time we could get him to play was as the Monopoly 'Bank Manager'. And he was corruptable too. bag

But the topic is cats... Now if only I could get the mean one of my two dearies to play Sauron. Maybe if I play with cat candies instead of Hobbits?

The player pieces are made of wood -- I thought that only happened during the 1943 run of the game. I suppose you don't remember if they are original or not?
