There's no volcano anywhere near here in Manila! If that's supposed to be Mount Mayon, it's a few hundred kilometers north of the city. Those canoes need outriggers (not that you'll see any nearby, even if you go back a few hundred years), and what's with the weird-looking rocks?

Fawkes (#82017),

cool down, fawkes. i am amused at the pic after seeing it. it appears the graphic artist didn't really researched about manila. i just hope the gameplay itself will be more correct/realistic (in game mechanic sense) than how the cover art represented manila. just dont mess with laguna!!

by the way, mount mayon is southeast (bicol region) of manila. not really sure about the distance but mayon is not visible at all from manila

Fawkes (#82017), One of the smallest volcanoes in the world is located in Lake Taal (just south of Manila).

yeah, but that keeps blowing up every few years. It hasn't been all that tall...that's the problem. Not as big as on the box cover.

ralf;

The rant is tongue in cheek, of course. I was down at Taal last weekend for the cool breeze, sushi and Starbucks by the lake. It's not every year that someone makes a game with your city in the title. Allow us to be a bit nonplussed at the incorrect graphics.

Robert's right though - Taal looks nothing like what's on the box. That's clearly Mayon if anything. And neither of those nave been anywhere within Manila city limits at any point in the history of the Philippines.

(I wonder how many people actually know where the hell Manila is?)
