Thanks so much. It means a lot coming from you! Inspired the tips on your blog ( http://thegeneralspaintbrush.blogspot.com/2008/12/valiant-17... ) I tried using the washes you recommended. The results were much better and faster than my old technique. No where near your level of expertise, but I'm please with them. Now if I could only find more time to paint!

Cheers,

Rob (a.k.a Goober)

I used Vajello paints and Citadel (GW) washes. The colours I used are:

Pants: Khaki Grey 880
Great Coat: US Tan Earth 874
Helmets: Russian Green 894
Belts & Pouches: Khaki 988

I washed the pants, coat and flesh with Gryphonne Sepia. The pouches where washed with Badab Black.

I'm somewhat colour blind, so I relied on the colour recommendations from the Flames of War website. Lots of info there.

Hope this helps. Can't what to see your work!
