I would do all the things I have ever dreamed of doing. I would love to become a professional whistler.I'm pretty amazing at it now, but I wanna get, like, even better. Make my living out of it.

During the Seaside release and previews of images, Jay did not seem to mind the posting of those images here.
Dude, it's on the official website. That seems like making it public, doesn't it? Anyone could pull it off the site, and they know it. Sounds like permission to me.
I think Rio Grande should have their lawyers write a threatening letter, because we've seen how well that goes over with a game company's primary customers and best source of free publicity. Speaking of free publicity, you don't usually sue people who provide you with it. Just sayin'. Also I'm sure BGG will take it down if Rio Grande asks. Just FYI US copyright law has no provision for prior restraint. There is also a "fair use" provision in US copyright law, and while I'm no lawyer, I'm pretty sure this is covered as "fair use," although some other things posted on BGG are probably not.
This conversation got ridiculous. Free publicity about their game they want to sell. How does BGG get most of the images they use? How about when people scan or take pictures of the game parts and put them on BGG?
Do you have permission to ask if David has permission?
Do you have permission to ask Ceryon if he has permission to ask David if he has permission?
Monteslu, do you have permission to ask K P Impsta if he has permission to ask Ceryon if he has permission to ask David if HE has permission to use this image?
