I wish! Found this one yesterday on French website TricTrac.net (Ystari sent it to them; no release date or anything else). I would've posted it on the TBoW page but it doesn't exist yet.

Ah, they'd hidden it in the 'flash info' banner that I've never paid attention to

The Brink of War page exists now and someone's linked this image to it, so it shows up in the gallery there too.

I found the original source, since it wasn't directly linked.

Uhh... interesting. My french is at its best not good.

I thought it might just be another Chuck "comedy" card... but no... This looks mighty interesting.

I wonder how the prestige mechanic will work, and what you can do with it.

From the card (consume 2 res to gain 2 prest) it looks like a 2nd pool of chips.

If this were a Knizia game, I'd say your final score is your tableau + lowest of either VP chips or Prestige chips.

I wonder if I could help. Let's see how up to snuff my French is:

"Le prestige comme nouvel objectif

La troisième extension pour "Race for the Galaxy" est dans les tuyaux. Son nom américain sera "The Brink of War" et le français "Au bord de l'abîme". Actuellement, Ystari, en charge de la version française, préfère ne donner aucune date de sortie. La principale nouveauté de cette extension sera le prestige représenté sur les cartes par uneétoile, comme on peut le voir sur L'Imperium capital aimablement fourni par l'éditeur."

Prestige as a New Objective

The third expansion for RftG is prepped. Its American name will be "The Brink of War," and the French, "Au bord de l'abîme" (On the Verge of the Abyss). Currently, Ystari, in charge of the French version prefers not to give a release date. The principle novelty of this expansion will be prestige, represented on the cards by a star, as one can see on "Imperium Capital," kindly provided by the editor.
