Custom-made boxes for Shipyard


You need thicker paper, scissors, and a ruler.

For each box cut two square pieces of paper (of the heavier stock - I used 205 grams paper - some people would call that very light cardboard. In US measures this should be about 110 lb stock).
One square should be 13.5 centimeters by 13.5 centimeters (bottom), the other 14 centimeters by 14 centimeters (for the lid).

The folding pattern is easy. You can find this anywhere on the web. There is no measuring necessary. There is one drawback: the box lids and bottoms will have x folds. If you want to have smooth surfaces, you will have to make exact markings first (I will upload exact instructions -and nicer boxes- in the file section soon).
