Here is the next step with rats!
When (or where?) is this going to end?

btw: I would rather say it's a "rat girrll"

And the very pretty eyes.

Nice call Xodroolis!

I used to have some reptiles and had a couple of breeder rats. We played with the rats more than the reptiles. The rats I had were smarter than any cat I ever had.....

Yes. That is me. My fiance and I put the picture up for laughs, but after it got so many people riled up, I didn't want to claim it. Darn alma mater for giving me away.

I would like to set the record straight that I don't ordinarily play games with my shirt half off. And I am rather good at Dominion.

You shouldn't have let your fiance get all the credit for such a great picture! Try not to let the vocal minority impact what you do, it's a perpetually losing battle and you'll never be validated by others anyway. Hope you guys have many wonderful gaming years ahead of you, with or without shirts half-off! whistle

That's the internet for you. Display a picture with a hint of cleavage (well... a bit more than a hint of, but still tasteful), and you immediately gain a fandom following which will pore over every pixel of said picture. There is no way you can remain anonymous now. Pretty soon, people will start addressing you on the streets, and asking for autographs on 10x10" blow-ups of your picture, or even worse, on bodyparts. I advise you to start writing your autobiography now.

Cute rat.

One of our rats also runs circles around our tomcat. The same rat that also learned how to open sliding doors in our former apartment. In our house, we gave the rats their own room, and gave that room a really good door .

I just went over and read the comments on that picture. Where did all that negativity come from? I thought the picture was fun and tasteful. Puritans.

When (or where?) is this going to end?

Well, I prefer rats to cats, mainly because my wife is allergic to felines.

Our daughter had 3 rat pets while in elementary school: first a single rat for whom we paid to have a large neck tumor surgically removed; and then a pair of sisters, who our daughter named Stars (for the white paws at the end of her brown front legs) and Stripes (for the brown stripe running down from her brown head across her white back).

Domestic rats are great! They are smarter and less aggressive than the other rodents you can get for pets.

It's a symptom of two problems. The first is that many people turn to the Internet when they want to get upset about something and run out of things in their own life. The second is the relative anonymity of the internet means there are no direct consequences for a lack of tact and forethought.

We'll just ignore them and share the lighthearted fun that created the image in the first place.

Oh, and I had a rat when I was younger. A rather talented escape artist so named Houdina. She was a good pet.

Hamsters, on the other hand, are little satans.

Get a life. If you're too scared to buy real pornography, strike a deal with the kids down at the junior high - you buy them beer and they will buy you copies of Maxim at the 7-11. Win-win.

In the meantime, maybe the admins can resolve to leave a family-oriented hobby site to its intended purpose, and the socially awkward can practice their "other" hobbies, such as striking out with disinterested females, where people don't have to watch it.

I was appreciating your feminine beauty. My female best friend is also beautiful (and I've told her so).

What fascinating nuggets for a board gaming site. You were staring at a complete stranger's breasts, followed by "oh boy, I have a friend!"

If you want to brag about your social skills, I'd suggest Facebook as a more viable alternative; at least you can, like, prove what you're saying there, if it really matters to anyone else in the least how many friends you have and what gender they are. I just kind of take it on faith that everyone here is socially fulfilled and here to talk about games. Until I see them posting awkward insecure messages, clamouring for attention, and acting like ten-year olds. Then I just assume the opposite of what they're saying is true.

Is this site really a family-oriented hobby site?

Given a quick perusal of the games on this site, I would disagree.

Yes. That is me. My fiance and I put the picture up for laughs, but after it got so many people riled up, I didn't want to claim it. Darn alma mater for giving me away.

I would like to set the record straight that I don't ordinarily play games with my shirt half off. And I am rather good at Dominion.

That's right...skills first, and blind them with beauty. Knock 'em dead!

That's the internet for you. Display a picture with a hint of cleavage (well... a bit more than a hint of, but still tasteful), and you immediately gain a fandom following which will pore over every pixel of said picture.

I dunno about tasteful, and definitely not very classy considering the location or context. LOL, seriously. Not to say she isn't attractive, though.

This is a stunning hypothesis. How have you achieved cultural insights of this depth?

Still, we should test your theory. Show us your man-tits.

Maybe if she borrowed the rats running wheel for a few months.

Like there isn't enough nastiness in the world without your "anonymous" two cents on a board game website. That goes for you too Michael Dorosh. Thanks for your contributions.

He was an awesome rat. Maybe a little weird in the head, but he was sooooo nice... towards humans. He had kind of squirelly hair, but it was probably not the most imaginative name ever.
