If the RFTG development cards were subway stations and the actions were subway lines... (version 1.2)

This is version 1.2, with the correct lines running through Pan Galactic League.

I'd reckon rent's expensive near Mining Conglomerate, Alien Tech Inst., and Public Works

Pretty interesting. I don't think that purely that power is the most interesting set of constraints, however, it might be cooler to put this into "strategy space", or at least, to consider it. That is, Mining Conglomerate should be close to Mining Robots, even though their powers are nearly disjoint. Likewise, Genetics Lab and Galactic Genome Project, and Pan-galactic League should be close. Less obviously, Improved Logistics and Terraforming Guild are a great pair.

If you are interested, I could try to build some empirical relations between the cards from the rftgstats data.

I hate to make you produce another version, but it looks like you mis-placed the Galactic Bankers. Shouldn't they be at the (empty) symbol the junction of the develop/six-cost/consume tracks? I think the Galactic Exchange belongs where the Bankers are currently.

Thanks for your comments. When I created this I wasn't really thinking about it being functional in terms of game play, more just something to do as a fun exercise, and the 6 powers lent themselves to creating the 'lines' fairly easily. My main focus was on getting the diamond shape as a focus. I made this diagram before I did the worlds, and in the end I took a more creative approach for them, so perhaps when the next expansion comes out I will see if a complete rethink produces something that is more functional as well as being aesthetic for the developments.

I'd be more likely to create links that are actually card based (Mining League + Mining Conglomerate + Mining Robots) rather than 'use' based (Terraforming Guild + Improved Logistics).

Thanks for pointing that out. I should have been more patient with the redo. The fix is actually very easy - would take me less than 30 seconds. Do you know if there is a way for me to replace the image instead of adding yet another one? I don't want to spam the 'geek... If not, then I will try and redo the whole thing after BoW comes out.

Don't think so.
Just upload another one, not really spam

Another alternative is to upload it into the file section, then every time you change you can add another version of the file to that particular file entry (and can even delete old ones if you wish).
