True, I don't have Stoner Fluxx, but I do have Jewish and Christian Fluxx, as well as all the other expansion packs. But the expansion packs do not have boxes, which was the point of my picture.
I also do not have any of the foreign language editions, nor versions 2.0, 2.1, or 3.0 of vanilla Fluxx.
- Row 1: Fluxx 1.0, the original version. The cards were in black and white only, and were bigger than the cards used in all other versions.
- Row 2: A later version of Fluxx (3.1), along with the first themed versions: Eco and Family. These used compact tuck boxes, and Family Fluxx's is thinner since the deck is smaller. These cards use color on their front side for the stripes.
- Row 3: Zombie Fluxx, the first seriously geeky-themed version, and the game that first used Creepers. It's also the only one to come out with a wider tuck box. Retailers had been saying they wanted wider boxes for Fluxx for a long time, but this one wasn't appreciated -- the side-by-side half-decks shifted a lot, and the box was hard to use.
- Row 4: The newest box, dubbed the "Looney Bin", is a hit at Looney Labs. It has a removable lid which has the right amount of friction to stay in place yet be easily removable, and it has a divider specific to the particular deck. They used it first for Zombie Fluxx 1.1, and then proceeded to adapt all the Fluxx games to the new box, the bigger deck (100 cards), full-color illustrations, and the addition of Creepers: vanilla Fluxx 4.0, then two more fun themes Monty Python and Martian Fluxx, and finally new versions of Eco and Family Fluxx! (Family Fluxx does not have Creepers or a larger deck, though.)
- Row 5: Two special wooden boxes available as accessories: Pandora's Box and the Zombie Boss Box; both are named after a Promo card that comes with the box. Each comes either small or large. (I only have the large ones, which can hold 200 cards, vs. 125.)
