Fools! You opened the box! shake

Did you not learn what is written on page 4327 of the Necronomicon?

Abdul Alhazared wrote:
Though thou may desire most what is inside the box, without the protection of facing north during the waxing moon on the 5th day or that of the eldar sign affixed to a band on thy brow, thou must never open the box without these supplication to the elder evils.
The desert wind eating away at your flesh would be a more pleasant death than what you may find within the box.

I would pray for your souls, but as I am not so foolish as to come between this ancient evil and its prey, the best I can tell you is... "RUN!"

There's a lot of "hand acting" there. Have you considered being rotoscoped for Ex Machina?

Fool! Don't you know that standard camera lens can only register images visible in 3 dimensions - what we don't see are the non-euclidean creatures all around them - I know because I've opened way to many arkham horror boxes - but had protection.
Thanks Elder Sign

I think they did. But they must have read a page or two more, as it seems like the limitations of their brains in regards to the nature of the universe have taken their toll...shake

He's gone insane and is only seeing the fevered delusions of his own mind, I'm afraid.

First class. Remember, I don't have to run faster than Cthulhu, just faster than you!

Nah, that wouldn't work. If I remember the RPG correctly, Cthulhu eats like 1d10 people per round.

There's that, too. I sure hope I don't run into Cthulhu in a dark alley, or in one of my game boxes.
