As the artist must be Escher I guess that McDonalds have just opened a new restaurant somewhere and this in tribute to it. There are some crazy people on this site.

I guess I am the only one that thinks the Carcassonne tiles feel totally shoved on top of the picture. The feel really out of place to me. They might as well be tiles from any game at this point.
