Thanks Darrin. The big tanks are a bit of a PITA, getting all those green and brown tiles takes a lot of trawling through bricklink. The little robots are my favourites. Like Wall-E, only in camouflage and with guns

I am all to aware of the pain of finding a usable amount of a must have part. I have mocs that took more individual BL orders to complete than I care to remember.
I like your interpretation of Mike Bernd's King Crab MT-823 missile launching hover-craft. Your version reminds me of the G.E.V. from Steve Jacksons Ogre and of course G.E.V. games.
Would you mind If I blogged about these pics on my Mechaton blog?

I'd be honored. Let me know if you need a better pic of it. Maybe a couple of the small engines, or http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60990 (although a bit big) would help to the G.E.V.-ify it.

Is the core of those infantry a 1x1 green brick, with studs on 5 sides? Those are hard to get, since they've only been in one set ever, I think, and only then early in the decade. What do they cost?

Yes it is. Unfortunately it was a while back I bought them and don't really remember what they cost. I just got them from bricklink, but I pretty sure they weren't that expensive; if it had meant spending a fortune I would have come up with something else
