When my wife and I saw these hexagonal-shaped, Marmite-flavoured crackers, we immediately thought of Settlers, and the other day we had the chance to decorate them appropriately... with tuna and paprika for brick, baba ganoush for ore, lettuce and goats' cheese for sheep, mozzarella for wheat, and a spinach and ricotta dip for wood. Peppers and olives make up the roads, the settlements and the robber.
Yum yum!

Excellent idea! (Though I think you used too much baba ganoush and not enough lettuce and goat cheese) shake

Nice! I can't help but think of other stuff you could have added, like the water and harbors (maybe just put them on a blue plate). Carrots would have made a good third player - and fairly easy to carve into the right shapes.

On our table, the robber would be gone after 3 rounds or so because of his delicious ingredients

Looks like the green player is in the lead but who won the game? Also, how did you tell which number was which. I can't seem to find the markings.

Well, I confess we didn't actually PLAY the game! I don't think we could have held off from eating the stuff that long! So no numbers needed.

oops, another mistake! It was because our friends arrived early so I had to rush to finish the creation and somehow slipped up here. And yes our mozzarella is yellow.

There appears to be some sort of "rockslide of Catan" occurring in the south-eastern region.

Best use of hexagonal crackers EVER.

There's a specific brand of vegan crackers that are shaped like hexagons around here. Maybe someday I'll nab this idea and make my own Settlers snack tray for a party.
