This is on the front page and it's a picture of somebody 'pointing' at a Smallworld box? The Internet never ceases to amaze me.....

I don't mean to take away any of the technical merits for constructing such a photograph, but seriously?

By all means show me a photo of people enjoying the game but pointing at it? wait a second, I have a cunning plan.... I'm going to photograph myself pointing at boxes to earn Geekgold - Mwa ha ha and then I'll take over the world.

(Don't knock me, I'm British! If we haven't got something to moan about we tend to dry up and start cracking)

What exactly did you guys put in my Tea? surprise

Don't you get Gold when you upload a picture relating to a game and it's accepted? Or is that just me in my fantasy world?

Uh-oh, there could be a major flaw in my plan?

Maybe she couldn't decide between Starcraft and Chaos in the Old World, and just picked the middle of them (where some other game happened to be)?

Was this photo taken in your game-room or in your local game-store?

I have to say I'd be envious either way. You either have a very well-stocked game-room or a very well-stocked, clean and well-lit local game-store.

I think it's now fair to say that I've 'officially' lost my marbles.

I can't seem to get that tune out of my skull no matter what I do.
Sings - "God save our Gracious Queen, Long live" - that didn't work
Whistles the Birdy song - nope
Thinks - Princess Leia in 'that' bikini - Heh heh nearly
Thinks harder - Wil Wheaton - What's going on now? soblue

Oh well - "This is the song that doesn't end.........." whistle

I think it's now fair to say that I've 'officially' lost my marbles.

I can't seem to get that tune out of my skull no matter what I do.
Sings - "God save our Gracious Queen, Long live" - that didn't work
Whistles the Birdy song - nope
Thinks - Princess Leia in 'that' bikini - Heh heh nearly
Thinks harder - Wil Wheaton - What's going on now?

Oh well - "This is the song that doesn't end.........."

Oh, you think that's bad? I had Like a Rubber Ball by Bobby Vee bouncing through my head for 3 whole days once. It was horrible.yuk

Oh, wait...no....No...NOOOOOOooooOOOOOoooooOOOOOOooooo!!!!gulp

NOTHING beats the Tetris theme!

You are right. This game made me...well, let's just say it was a very dark time.shake You see, when I used to play this game...when I was obsessed with this game...I would see traffic patterns as a Tetris problem. "If I just twist this way and jump to the left, I know that I can fit between that 18 wheeler and that Cadillac."

I...had...to...give...Tetris...up.soblue

For the sake of humanity...for the safety of the driving public...

Stupid game. I never like it anyway.yuk

No wait! Come back! I didn't mean it!cry

I just realized what this picture in all likelihood is; a camphone pic sent from your girlfriend to you letting you know what she wanted to play.

I now find this clever and cute and worthy of the thumbs and front page.

Unfortunately no. Half of my collection is in another house. I hope to link them in the future

No, "all" it takes is a great looking girl pointing at a box.

An unlikely feat for most the people upset by a picture on a boardgame website.

You or I couldn't get these results; if you do not believe me go ahead and try it.....

Once I saw this pic I knew there would be some inappropriate comments, but the tag 'bedroom eyes'?

A new low for BGG.

I hadn't even noticed the tag. I think you are right in that it is inappropriate. blush It's just a nice picture of a person pointing to a game collection.

I wasn't going to respond to your pointing this out, but I remembered that all it takes for wrong to win is for right to remain silent. So, add my voice to yours.soblue
