These are Decktet-tokens I made for playing Magnate (and possibly future games that make use out of them).

These were made using the same technique as in my Merchant of Venus-build. The designs were laser-printed on sticker paper, then laminated to add contrast and protection. Then they were punched out using an arch-punch.

Details about the technique are described here.

The die was made in a similar way. I will post details about that in the DIY-forum soon.

These look awesome.

Could you please post the file for these tokens - I would like to make 1" circular ones as well, but only have the file from the Magnate page to work with.

My little cardboard square tokens have served me well thus far. I went the extra step of making them two sided - a step that I found was worth the effort.

I am currently playtesting two games (that I plan to release soon) that actually make extensive use of these tokens.

The discs above have 19mm diameter and the stickers measure 16mm.

I took the graphics out of a pdf in the file library and gave the circles a bigger black border. Then I copied 21 sets of 6 stickers onto a A4 page.

I just posted the PDF of this page.

But you can always make your own page like this. The graphics in the PDF-files in the file section are not protected, so you can simply copy/paste the suit symbols out of the aces from the deck-PDF into your graphics program.

Thanks for the tips and the pdf! I guess I'll have to get one of those graphics programs one of these days.

Arch punches are all the newest craze.

I linked to the description of my MoV build in the first comment above. Some way down the thread you can find how I build round tokens.

Or you can read this thread that is especially about this technique.
