Doesn't look too useful for your 5-2 first turn buy, but looks great as a mid/end game card.

Looks like it would be unpopular in a game with Thief or Pirate Ship.

After you discard you draw 5 cards into your hand, so the treasure you put there would go right into your next hand

... which may not be a good thing to do with your coppers. Much better once you have loaded your deck with silver, gold, potions, and phil's stones.

I an see this working very well in combination with alchemist.

Seems odd that you get an extra buy, when you'll have less treasure to spend.

The Treasure gets put on top of your deck during the Clean-Up Phase, not during the Buy Phase.
