I thought the minions represented different kinds of mobs, skeletons and demons and orcs and whatnot... but the molds are the same?

Well, I'm really hoping the game itself is better than it looks. I don't need FFG, but, I did just assume that at least the minions would look different for each faction (even if they were not the greatest looking of minis).

Like I've written before, I found Puerto Rico to be the ugliest game I've ever seen, but a great game non-the-less.

I'm amazed that Richard Launius hasn't demanded a set of figs be sent to him so that he can go ahead and paint them.

The man paints everything--even his teensy Chaos in the Old World figures.

Yes, but these models look far more lasting than the runewars's models, I like this design as well

Seriously, they aren't that bad. Just need to use your imagination a little. More like the minions are secretive types, spread like a disease among the populace... hmm... that sounds familiar for some reason.

Okay, jokes aside, congrats on the production. Look forward to it.

All of the prototypes used wooden cubes (from the bookshelf Risk set). I guess file that in the "interesting but unhelpful" category.
