Superb work! Again, might I ask for your step-by-step choice of paints?

Heheh, thanks everyone for the thumbs and tips! I appreciate it.

My choice of paints is pretty basic for the armor and I used Citadels paints:

- Black spray as undercoat.
- Mechrite red as basecoat (foundation paint).
- Blood red.

I thin the paints a bit to get even and smooth surfaces. After that:

- Watered down dark flesh / Badab Black -wash for the recesses of the armor. (shadowing). You could also just use devlan mud for this but its not as deep.
- Blazing orange for the highlights and edges of the armor.
- Plenty of Baal Red -wash for the whole armor to darken the color, and tie the shadowing/highlighting to the rest of the armor.

After that I just pick out and paint all thats left. Lastly I use Vallejoes Matt Varnish to seal the mini, and it also gives a slightly "darker look" for the red armor. (I dont want my marines to look orange).

Might take a while to get Squad-Gideon also in line. whistle

Good question...I looked to see if you can find out who posts a tag on a picture. But I don't think you can.

AH HA! My small brain was being easily distracted by the [+] and didn't pay attention to the number in front being a link. Good to know. Thanks.
