I'd like to replace the ones that the head imp (that would be my SO) plucked from around the house as we were designing an insert for the box. He was looking for something that would be just the right size, and then happened to notice that the colors matched! We've had them for years, but I love how they work with the game now, so I guess they've been permanently repurposed.

I have a set of candle holders that I picked up from IKEA that looks just like those, except for the colors (I think mine are read, purple, orange and blue/broken and thrown away).

Thanks for the idea. There are many home decor stores around. Now I'll actually have something to look for the next time the wife unit drags me into one.

A while back I had created a list to discuss setup times and hoped to get some storage solutions out of it, but it fell flat rather quickly...

The only storage solutions currently listed on the Setup Time and Complexity list are the ones in the link to the storage and organization list!

Check individual games, you can often speed up setup time quite a lot. For instance, Puerto Rico can get down to a min or 2 with differant bags for differant people, and the buildings stacked in order ready to pop down.
