I have no argument Dixit is a great game.

But Dixit's win almsot reminds me of the time Jethro Tull won vs. Metaliica the first Metal/Hard Rock performance. It was one of those "Huh? How did that happen?" award moments.

Dixit is a great game. And it's accessible for non-gamers. I haven't ever met any non-gamers who didn't fall in love with it the first time they played (and also many gamers did). That's what Spiel des Jahres is about.
